Title Slide: An example of how to access your company's SafeStat results using A&I Online. ai.fmcsa.dot.gov SafeStat is a tool used by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to prioritize interstate motor carriers for compliance reviews and roadside inspections. This information is available through the SafeStat Online module of FMCSA's Analysis & Information Online (A&I) website. This hand out provides an example of how you can use A&I to determine your company's safety fitness, drill-down to SafeStat results and detailed safety data, and how to go about correcting data issues through DataQs. Slide 2: Analysis & Information (A&I) Main Menu Screen - Type "ai.fmcsa.dot.gov" into your web browser. 1. Click on A&I User Login on the A&I User Login (Graphic of Main Menu on Home Page - highlighting user login) Slide 3: Login Screen 2. Click on View Detail Data to access the State Reported Crashes for the Accident SEA. 8. Click on Driver to access the carrier's SafeStat Results in the Driver SEA . Select OOS Insps. w/OOS Viols. from the pull down to access the Driver OOS Inspections for the Driver SEA . 10. Click on a record number to access the Detailed Inspection Report 11. Click on Vehicle to access the carrier’s SafeStat Results in the Vehicle SEA. Click on History to review a carrier’s SafeStat Result History Report where a carrier’s performance can be reviewed over multiple SafeStat runs. Slide 13: Filing Concerns on Federal and State Reported Data 18. If your registration information needs to be updated, please submit an updated MCS-150 (follow the link). Otherwise, click on any of the DataQs links. 19. First time users will need to create a user name and password. Click on Register Online. Select the type of data that you are challenging and follow the menu options.
