Statistic of the Day

In 2007, drivers of passenger vehicles involved in a large truck fatal crash were reported wearing restraints 69% of the time and the passengers of the passenger vehicles were wearing them 65.3% of the time.

The goal of Analysis and Information (A&I) Online is to provide information and data to promote analytically sound, safety-conscious decisions by all Motor Carrier Industry stakeholders. The site provides motor carrier safety information including statistical and analytical resources for FMCSA and State enforcement personnel, motor carriers, researchers, insurers, shippers, and the public.

A&I was developed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Analysis Division and the U.S. DOT’s Volpe National Transportation Systems Center.
